Packers cuts loom after beating Seattle Seahawks on Saturday

(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers’ defense was dominant in the team’s final preseason game.

Defenders forced three fumbles and sacked the Seattle quarterback five times in a 20-7 victory.

The Seahawks were playing without their starters while Green Bay used regulars for most of the first period.

Backup quarterback Malik Willis capped a 96-yard drive on 14 plays by hitting Romeo Doubs in the end zone for a first-period score.

Taylor Elgsma connected with Will Sheppard on a short scoring pass in the second.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur had a lot of questions fired at him after the game.
