Packers coach Matt LaFleur says surgery on Jordan Love's left thumb 'went well'

Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said the surgery on Jordan Love's left thumb "went well" and the quarterback is in "great spirits" following the procedure.

"The surgery went well, and he's in great spirits. He's here with us (in Indianapolis)," LaFleur said Thursday, via Ashley Washburn of WTMJ. "Now it's about putting in the work to get the thumb rehabbed."

The Packers are in Indianapolis for a joint practice with the Colts on Thursday and a preseason game on Saturday. Love, who had surgery to repair a ligament injury in his left thumb on Tuesday, won't participate in either event.
