Packers coach Matt LaFleur provides update on Tucker Kraft's groin injury

Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said tight end Tucker Kraft has been working through a groin injury over the last practices, so the team decided to keep him off the field for Family Night on Saturday in an attempt to allow the injury to clear.

"He's been dealing with it for a few days, he's been powering through," LaFleur said following Saturday night's practice. "We thought it was best to give him a couple of days and let that thing come down."

The Packers are off Sunday and don't have an open practice again until Tuesday, so Kraft will have extra time to rest before LaFleur's team enters a crucial week leading into the preseason opener on Saturday night.
