GREEN BAY – There will be some real football during the Aug. 2 Family Night practice held inside Lambeau Field, but Green Bay Packers fans will have to wait a while to see it.
Live tackling is a rarity in a training camp practice and since Family Night is no more than a typical training camp practice, there won’t be much of it.
But coach Matt LaFleur had an 11-on-11 tackling period once this week, and he plans on doing it again.
“It is scheduled for the last period,” LaFleur said in his pre-practice news conference Aug.
