Packers center Corey Linsley has sprained MCL, per report

The Green Bay Packers are getting some good news on Monday morning on center Corey Linsley’s knee injury. According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Linsley’s injury is believed to be a sprained MCL, a relatively mild injury given the circumstances.

Linsley had to be helped from the field by members of the Packers’ medical staff after a Chicago defensive lineman fell into his leg in the first half. He was later taken to the locker room by cart, and although head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game that early indications were that Linsley’s injury was not serious, it was still unclear exactly what Linsley’s status would be going forward.
