A position change four years into an NFL career is never ideal, but for Green Bay Packers wide receiver turned cornerback Bo Melton, it might be his best shot at making the team in 2025.
Melton has been spending time at corner since the spring, and the plan is to keep him there during training camp. Thus far, Melton has impressed through his willingness to compete and his ability to execute at one of the game's most difficult positions.
"He's done a nice job," Matt LaFleur said. "When you watch him through the course of drills, the skill set is there—it's just getting an adequate number of reps to go and get comfortable out there at a very difficult position to play.
