Packers bring in potential 1st-round CB Trey Amos for pre-draft visit

According to long-time sports writer Gery Woelfel, the Green Bay Packers are going to host cornerback Trey Amos of Ole Miss for a pre-draft visit on Monday. As of now, 18 of the Packers’ 30 allotted pre-draft visits have been reported with a week and change to go until the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off. Amos is only the second major cornerback that the team has brought in, behind the injured Shavon Revel Jr. of East Carolina.

Amos’ health could push him up the board next week. Among the top nine cornerbacks on the consensus draft board, three of them — Will Johnson of Michigan, Revel and Benjamin Morrison of Notre Dame — each had season-ending injuries in 2024.
