According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Packers have released running back Corey Grant and brought back defensive back Ibraheim Campbell, who they’ve placed on the PUP list.
Rob Demovsky of ESPN reported that the team has also waived injured edge rusher Kendall Donnerson, who they selected in the seventh round of the draft last year.
First, it’s great to see Campbell returning to the team. He was claimed by the Packers last season, and played well at safety before suffering a torn ACL. Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported back in March that the Packers had interest in bringing him back, a move they’ve now made.
