The blockbuster is nearly official. On Thursday night, the Green Bay Packers announced an agreement in place with the Dallas Cowboys on a trade sending two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to the Cowboys in exchange for All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons.
The trade is pending physicals. Once both players pass a physical, the trade will become official.
The Packers also announced an agreement on a contract extension with Parsons, who is expected to become the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
In a press release, the Packers noted that Parsons and Hall of Famer Reggie White are the only players in NFL history to register at least 12 sacks in each of their first four seasons.
