If everything goes perfectly on Sunday evening, the Green Bay Packers would not punt the football once. That would be even more ideal after Saturday’s news, as punter JK Scott has been added to the injury report for the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Scott has evidently come down with the illness that has been making the rounds in the locker room, and the team has updated the report to list him as questionable for tomorrow’s game. The Packers currently hold an open spot on their 53-man roster, and it would be reasonable to think that they will sign a punter to that open spot on Saturday in case Scott is unable to go on Sunday.
