Packers' Aaron Rodgers sold San Diego house for $5.13 million

GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers sold a Del Mar, California, residence for $5.13 million.

The New York Post reported the sale on Thursday. According to online real state sites Zillow and Realtor.com, the property was sold on Nov. 29.

Rodgers, a native of Chico, in northern California, also has residences in Hobart and in Malibu, California. His future with the Packers is a matter of intense speculation following the season-ending loss to San Francisco in the NFL playoffs.

While Packers coach Matt LaFleur said he would like to have Rodgers back next season, the team might have to make a choice between keeping him and his very high salary, or trading him and trying to re-sign other players while staying under the NFL salary cap.
