The Green Bay Packers find themselves in a similar position to several other teams this offseason, particularly regarding veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander. Alexander and the Packers have been working toward a restructured contract that both sides can agree on.
“On the contract front, the Packers could want a revised deal that allows Alexander -- who has missed at least 10 games in three of the last four seasons -- to earn his full salary if he's healthy and available in 2025 but protects the team in case the injuries continue,” Packers Wire’s Zach Kruse wrote.
While the Packers have yet to finalize a new deal with the veteran, there’s a positive sign: Alexander remains in communication with the team.
