The first phase of training camp, whereby the Green Bay Packers offense and defense face off daily until they are sick of the sight of each other, is now effectively over, with joint practices and preseason games coming up shortly.
The Packers host the New York Jets in the preseason opener on Saturday night.
Plenty can change in the minds of the decision makers between now and cut down day, but here is a projection of what the 53-man roster could look like based on how training camp has played out so far (players listed based on last name):
Quarterbacks (2): Jordan Love, Malik Willis
With so many difficult calls to make at other positions, the Packers could opt to keep only two QBs on the 53, feeling comfortable with Willis as the unquestioned backup and hoping to get Sean Clifford or Taylor Elgersma back on the practice squad.
