Packers 27 Chiefs 19: Game Balls & Lame Calls

It will be truly a shame if the incredible effort and accomplishment of the Green Bay Packers in their 27-19 victory over the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs becomes obscured by the chatter over the end of game officiating. That Carrington Valentine should have been called for pass interference on the final drive seems quite obvious. But so was the legality of Jonathan Owens hit on Patrick Mahomes while Mahomes was clearly still in the field of play, yet the Packers were penalized for a late hit. There will be precious little discussion about that officiating mistake.

And as for the final Hail Mary, no official is going to call DPI on that play.
