When Luke Musgrave crossed the goal line with a touchdown that sealed victory, the Green Bay Packers players and bench erupted into one of the most exuberant celebrations in recent memory. For a team absolutely starved for some positivity and success, Sunday’s 20-3 win over the Rams was sheer, unmitigated joy.
No doubt they are thinking “To hell with the skeptics who will quickly point out the pathetic level of the competition.” And I agree. Who cares if this was as inept a football game as you will ever see? It just feels good to win. There won’t be many of these.
