The Green Bay Packers are working to get their defense heading in the right direction as the new season approaches. There are many holes to fill and plenty of room for improvement. Additionally, there is uncertainty surrounding their top cornerback, Jaire Alexander. While there have been discussions aimed at reaching a mutually beneficial contract, nothing has been finalized yet.
“On the contract front, the Packers could want a revised deal that allows Alexander—who has missed at least 10 games in three of the last four seasons—to earn his full salary if he’s healthy and available in 2025, but protects the team in case the injuries persist,” Zach Kruse wrote.
