The Green Bay Packers open the 2025 preseason on Saturday night against the New York Jets. Coach Matt LaFleur said he will play starters for a predetermined number of snaps this preseason, mostly to knock off the rust, get the veterans back into a game process/routine and hopefully prevent injuries during the regular season, but the real value of preseason games usually comes from giving out real-game opportunities to young, developing players down the depth chart.

Matt LaFleur said Willis will get the most playing time of the four quarterbacks on Saturday night.
