Back in 2016, the Green Bay Packers got off to a disappointing start. A four-game, midseason losing streak had them at 4-6 and their playoff hopes seemed all but dead. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers boldly declared he thought the team could “run the table” and win the rest of their games. He backed up his words and the team did just that, winning their final six contests and clinching the NFC North crown. They advanced all the way to the NFC Championship Game before being blown out by the Atlanta Falcons.
This season, the Packers also got off to a very disappointing start.
