GREEN BAY — The short turnaround heading into Thursday night’s matchup with the Washington Commanders isn’t doing the Green Bay Packers’ offensive line any favors.
After losing right tackle Zach Tom to what is now being described as an oblique injury and left guard Aaron Banks to ankle and groin injuries, the Packers could have to face the Washington Commanders without either one of them on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.
Neither Tom nor Banks would have been able to participate had the team practiced on Monday, according to estimations on the team’s injury report. Both linemen were injured during the second half of the Packers’ 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
