Old face, new place: former Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce lands new gig

After Josh McDaniels' time was up for the Las Vegas Raiders organization, in came Antonio Pierce. When it started, it looked like it could be a long, successful career as a head coach.

But that came to an end fast. The team dropped to 4-13, and any momentum Pierce had built quickly vanished. Players weren’t backing him the way they once had. The Raiders let him go and hired Pete Carroll in his place.

Now, instead of prowling NFL sidelines, Pierce is diving into a different kind of role. He recently shared on Instagram that he’s been hired as chief strategy adviser at a group called Athletes in Control.
