No injury designation for Packers QB Aaron Rodgers on final injury report

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers wasn’t given an injury designation on the final injury report of Week 6 and will play Sunday against the New York Jets.

Rodgers injured his thumb on the final play of the Packers’ loss to the New York Giants last Sunday in London. He missed practice on Wednesday but returned as a full participant on both Thursday and Friday.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Rodgers proved he was ready to play during Thursday’s practice.

“He threw the ball really well yesterday, so he’s confident,” LaFleur said.

LaFleur also said he didn’t think the injury would limit Rodgers in the passing game in any way come game time.
