Every NFL season is filled with highs and lows. And with only 17 games in 18 weeks, the swings between one and the other can be extreme. While it’s easy to enjoy the good times, it’s far tougher to stomach the bad ones.
Since we’re approaching the midpoint of the 2022 season, it’s a good time to take stock of what we thought would happen and what’s actually taken place.
While Tuesday’s trade deadline frenzy likely surpassed NFL fans’ wildest expectations, the first half of the season has clearly fallen short in many other respects.
