Sunday will be the end of the season road for Bartlesville High graduate A.J. Parker and his Detroit Lion teammates.
The Lions (2-13-1) eye a major opportunity when they play host at noon Sunday to the NFC No. 1 seeded Green Bay Packers (13-3).
In their first meeting this season, the Packers defeated the Lions, 35-17.
But, that was back in Week 2 and the Lions had displayed notable progress during the next several weeks.
But injuries and health issues have dealt them a severe blow in recent weeks.
One of the biggest question marks for Sunday’s showdown is how long Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers — who has been playing through a toe injury — might play.
