The NFL holds its Spring Meetings in San Francisco this week through May 20. It may be interesting to witness the icy (almost “Frozen Tundra” like) reception Commissioner Roger Goodell receives from some of the owners and NFLPA alike.
It appears that Goodell has lost much of his popularity as he grasps how to handle player and team misconduct. It seems that he is referring to the polls before making his decisions and now is overstepping his authority in delegating player/team punishments in cases involving the integrity of the game.
The commissioner is levying longer suspensions and larger fines for players that violate the player conduct policy.
