The Giants were among the NFL’s biggest spenders during the league’s two-day negotiating window ahead of free agency beginning Wednesday at 4p.m.
Entering free agency with approximately $75.94 million in cap space, but much of that has quickly been spent.
A recap of the Giants moves:
* Leonard Williams franchise tagged: the Giants committed $17.04 million to defensive lineman in 2020, unless he eventually signs a long-term contract or the Giants remove the tag.
* Linebacker Blake Martinez signed: Martinez is due $14 million in the first year of this three-year contract
* Cornerback James Bradberry signed: Bradberry is owed approximately $15 million in the first year of his three-year contract (official figures have not been released on Bradberry’s deal).
