NFL flag football tournament brings 48 teams and 480 youth players to Green Bay

GREEN BAY – Football returned to Green Bay Saturday when 480 players from across the Midwest played in the NFL FLAG Regional Tournament hosted by the Green Bay Packers.

Games were played throughout the day on Ray Nitschke Field and in the Don Hutson Center.

Saturday proved an excellent day for football, with cloudy skies and rain holding off until the final games were moved into the Don Hutson Center.

Teams from Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin participated in the tournament. Tournament division winners receive an entry into the 2023 NFL FLAG Championships at the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas, along with a $5,500 donation toward each team’s travel.
