Based on conversations I’ve had, the working assumption is that the top six players in the draft are essentially locked in. The only question is which teams will be on the clock at number two to select Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter or at number five to pick Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty. I’m more than willing to be wrong, but this is the information I have as of an hour before the draft.
