The Baltimore Ravens are in full "win now" mode after signing veteran free agent defensive back Jaire Alexander this offseason.
The deal is for one year and $4 million, all guaranteed.
Alexander, who signed a four-year, $84 million contract with the Green Bay Packers in 2022, is just 28 and still has a lot of football left in him. His departure from the Packers wasn't performance-related, but due to a hefty $25 million cap hit for 2025.
That might be part of the reason why analyst Bucky Brooks predicted that Alexander could be a candidate for next year's NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.
