This New Year's Day, the Bowl games around College Football have a bit of a throwback feel to them. A couple of the matchups are repeats from several years ago, and in the same place no less, while the Big Ten's representative in the Rose Bowl is one that has not been to Pasadena in nearly a quarter-decade.
In the early games, we see a pair of repeats from the mid-2000s. Ohio State and Notre Dame square off in Arizona, rekindling a Fiesta Bowl matchup from January 2006.
