Since June, it has been reported that the Green Bay Packers will be getting a new “airbrushed” leather helmet that looks similar to the Illinois helmet used at the college football level. The source with that information stated that the Packers will reveal the helmet on July 23rd, today.
What we didn’t know was that there were going to be new uniforms to go along with this helmet. As you can see, though, Dicks Sporting Goods had a jump on the announcement and released the Packers’ “Alternate Navy Game Jersey” for sale on their website.
