Kayla Dodge and Owen Pham have something more in common than being able to make fast work of the Double Tilt Ladders, Flying Squirrel or Spider Walls. They’re both big Packers fans.
Fellow competitors on the current season of TV’s “American Ninja Warrior Junior,” the two kids from two different states discovered off the obstacle course they have a shared love of the Packers, thanks to some deep roots in Wisconsin.
What started as a casual conversation over lunch during filming in Los Angeles last July has turned into an across-state-lines friendship, not just between Kayla, 10, and Owen, 11, but their families — complete with a first-time trip to Lambeau Field for one as an act of kindness from the other.
