The team announced the move on Sunday evening, following their 20-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
McCarthy spent nearly 13 years as the head coach of the Packers, putting up an overall record of 125-77-2 for a total winning percentage of 0.621. That span included nine winning seasons and eight years with 10 or more wins, as well as six division titles.
