The NFL Network is doing their top 100 players now. Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels is on that list.
He moved up from No. 95 last year to No. 84 this year. Daniels didn’t have the huge year on the stat sheet in 2016 that we hoped for. He finished the year with 33 tackles and four sacks.
Daniels’ career highs in those categories are 49 (2015) and 6.5 (2013). So, it was somewhat of a disappointing campaign.
That said, Daniels was the only guy on the Packers’ defensive line that the opposition had to bother double teaming and they usually did.
