The Green Bay Packers landed 26-year-old superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons in a blockbuster trade with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday. While the dust is still settling on the historic move, Packers fans are starting to get acquainted with their new star.
While it did cost a fan favorite in Kenny Clark and two future first-round picks to acquire Parsons, this was an easy price to pay for an epic upgrade to the defense. Parsons and Rashan Gary rushing the quarterback is nightmare fuel for opposing offenses.
Parsons is also signing a four-year, $188 million deal, and his $47 million annual price tag is, by a solid margin, the highest by a non-quarterback in NFL history.
