In case Detroit Lions fans weren't already upset enough about losing to the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving, Matt LaFleur is doing his best to make matters worse.
Right before the end of the first half in Green Bay's 31-24 win over the Lions, the Packers scored a pivotal touchdown after what should have been a false start by rookie offensive lineman Anthony Belton. The Packers would not have gone for it on fourth down had the penalty stood, but the officials congregated and granted Matt LaFleur a timeout.
The problem is, the penalty occurred before LaFleur signaled timeout on the sideline, and everyone in the world watching the game saw it.
