GREEN BAY − It appears Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is making positive progress in his road to recovery.
“He looks like a freak, like he always does, in a positive way,” Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Friday when asked how Watson has looked.
Watson, a second-round draft pick by the Packers in 2022, is entering his fourth season in Green Bay. He could miss much of the 2025 season after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee in last season’s regular-season finale against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field, forcing him to miss the NFC wild-card game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
