The plan was to play Jordan Love for three quarters on Saturday night against the Houston Texans, but Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Love got “dinged” on a strip-sack late in the second quarter and was removed from the game at halftime.
LaFleur wouldn’t get into specifics or provide details on the severity of the injury until he knew more information.
“He kind of got dinged on that strip-sack, so we just thought it was best to let him rest the second half,” LaFleur said. “I’ll be able to update you a little more tomorrow.
