Mason Crosby in line for big kick in pay

Green Bay — The Green Bay Packers stood behind kicker Mason Crosby in the midst of a slump that might have gotten anyone else cut, and they have been paid back handsomely for their commitment.

Since hitting a career-low 63.6% of his field goals in 2012, Crosby has hit 85.4% of his field-goal attempts (82 of 96) and 98.5% of his extra points (130 of 132). This season, Crosby is 22 of 26 on field goals and 35 of 35 on extra points, the latter of which is especially impressive given the NFL's decision to move the ball back to the 15-yard line.
