Mark Murphy will retire as president of the Green Bay Packers later this week after delivering both a Super Bowl title and incredible financial stability -- in both the short- and long-term -- to the franchise across 17 years of service.
The Packers, the league's only publicly owned team, released their annual financial report for the last fiscal year on Wednesday. Thanks to a ninth regular season game played in Green Bay during the 2024 season and another increase in revenue sharing across the league, the Packers reported an operating profit of $83.7 million, up almost 40 percent over last year.
