Last season, NFL teams were allowed - but not mandated - to wear solid-color uniforms for Thursday Night games. The movement called Color Rush has now hit the league with full force, as it has become a requirement for the 2016 season to adorn these monochrome getups for the mid-week contests.
The Green Bay Packers, who of course chose not to wear one of these in their only non-holiday Thursday Night game last season in Detroit, have been tabbed to wear gold (more accurately yellow) when they play the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field in week 7.
Thanks to Madden NFL 17, however, we have our first possible look at what these uniforms might look like from an officially-licensed NFL source.
