Local businesses learn how they can become vendors for NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Packers are helping local small businesses learn how to become certified to apply to become a vendor for the NFL Draft next year.

The team hosted a workshop at Lambeau Field on Tuesday afternoon. Over 200 small business owners were in attendance.

“It’s work with a high profile client and you will be known for having worked with the NFL for the draft here,” said Packers director of public affairs Aaron Popkey.

To be eligible to become a vendor for the NFL draft, league officials said the small business must be at least 51 percent owned by a person in a minority group, a woman, a member of the LGBTQ community, a veteran, or a person with disabilities.
