Lions coach pulls of rare achievement vs. Packers

In the final week of the 2021 season, the Detroit Lions went into Lambeau Field and defeated the Green Bay Packers 37-30. It wasn’t a particularly meaningful game. The Lions were well out of contention and the Packers had secured the No. 1 seed in the NFC seed the week before.

But while that Week 18 game from two seasons ago may not have felt like it was much more than a glorified preseason game, it started something that would become far more significant the the Packers, Lions and Detroit coach, Dan Campbell.

While the Packers are four-time Super Bowl champions and have spent the last 30 years as arguably the NFL’s most consistent year-in and year-out team, the Lions have been the opposite.
