Pack gets roughed up in fourth quarter as curtain comes down on season.
I came away from this game with three clear impressions. Number one, not only are the Detroit Lions a better team than the Green Bay Packers, but they are positioned to remain so for several years to come. It became painfully evident when the fourth quarter began. Trailing by three, and with nothing to play for except pride, the Lions rolled up their sleeves and dominated the Packers in all phases.
It was almost as if they were toying with Green Bay, confident they could simply flip the switch and push the Packers around whenever it suited them.
