McCarren was one of four inductees for 2016, joining Chuck Roth, Lindsay Wood Davis and the late Aline Hazard, which brings the Hall’s membership to 136. The ceremony was held Thursday night at the Radisson Hotel and Convention Center in La Crosse, Wis.
Currently the sports analyst for the Packers’ digital department, producing “The Rock Report” among various broadcast projects, McCarren also remains on the Packers Radio Network broadcast team.
McCarren originally joined the team’s radio broadcasts in 1995 and has partnered with Wayne Larrivee on gamedays for the past 17 seasons.
A longtime television presence in northeast Wisconsin, McCarren worked as anchor and sports director for WFRV-TV in Green Bay for more than 20 years.
