GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU-WRN) — Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur says he’s constantly reminding his team to be careful when it comes to COVID-19 as a new season approaches.
“The guys will have to be disciplined,” Coach LaFleur told the media last week. “They will need to make sure they are doing everything they can to help our football team be in the best position possible to win football games, and being available is a part of that.”
Earlier this off-season the NFL announced that if teams can’t play on their scheduled date due to a COVID-19 outbreak on their roster they risk a forfeit if the game can’t be rescheduled within the structure of the 18-week regular season.
