Most of the work so far has been done on air without a defense on the field, but Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is seeing a "smooth" player with "great" hands and body control in rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden.
Love and Golden, the Packers' first-round pick, got more on-field work together during Wednesday's OTA session in Green Bay.
His first impressions of Golden? All good things, but Love knows the rookie must first learn the offense and become consistent enough in the details to get on the field.
"It's been fun to see him out there," Love said Wednesday.
