Friday was the first look the Green Bay Packers got at rookie running back John Crockett.
He had been sidelined since June with a sprained ankle and did not pass his physical when camp opened.
Now, if you’re saying, “Who the hell is John Crockett?” that’s just fine. He’s another one of Big Ted’s undrafted finds, so you shouldn’t be expected to know him just yet.
He does have a legitimate chance at making the team, however.
If the Packers keep a back behind Eddie Lacy and James Starks, which they did last year with DuJuan Harris, it could be this guy.
