Jets’ Woody Johnson ‘not hyperventilating’ about Aaron Rodgers trade delay, but puts pressure on to win now

PHOENIX – Jets owner Woody Johnson is eager to get back to winning after 12 straight years of missing the playoffs.

But as the Aaron Rodgers saga drags on, without a deal between the Jets and Packers nearly two weeks after the future Hall of Famer said he intended to play for the Jets this fall, Johnson isn’t losing faith that the job will get done.

“We’re anxious,” Johnson said Tuesday at NFL Owners Meetings. “I guess we look forward to it. We’re optimistic. But we have a plan so we’re willing to stick with our plan.
