The New York Jets defeated the Green Bay Packers 30-10 in Saturday's preseason Week 1 contest. It was a fruitful showing for several Jets starters and backups. Rookie offensive tackle Armand Membou was one of the best players on the field.
Head coach Aaron Glenn gave Membou an extended look. Justin Fields and the majority of the starting offensive line played 10 total snaps. Membou earned 22 snaps as Coach Glenn awarded him an opportunity to make a longer-lasting impact. He took full advantage.
Membou created rushing lanes in the ground game. The former Missouri standout played a clean contest, avoiding being whistled for a penalty.
