GREEN BAY - As expected after their addition to the Green Bay Packers’ injury report late Monday for being in close contact to running back AJ Dillon (who was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list), running back Jamaal Williams and linebacker Kamal Martin will miss Thursday’s game at San Francisco.
Per NFL COVID-19 protocols, those deemed in “close contact” with a player who tests positive must be held out of the facility and practices for at least five days since they were last in close contact with an individual who tested positive.
As of Tuesday morning, starting running back Aaron Jones’ status for the game remained in doubt due to a calf strain suffered Oct.
